Moirai
The title Moirai refers to the Fates, Klotho, Lachesis and Atropos, from Greek mythology. Klotho spins the thread constituting the material out of which our lives are created, Lachesis measures and sees the pattern that has emerged and Atropos cuts the thread, symbolising an end.
As a reinterpretation of this myth Moirai examines fate from a personal and gendered perspective analysing life experiences and the cultural conditions that have governed the sense of self.
